The steel and iron sand construction feels solid. Assembly is straightforward, though the nuts can be finicky. The wine red color is a nice touch. My main issues: the knurling on the bars is minimal, and the plates have a slight chemical smell initially. Also, the Prop 65 warning is concerning but common. For the price, it's a decent entry-level set.
